Pedal Against PTSD and the Dallas VA Research Corporation (DVARC)
Pedal Against PTSD, in partnership with the Dallas VA Research Corporation (DVARC), is proud to announce our new Grinder Charity Ride Series. This ride series has been developed together with DVARC to raise proceeds that go back to the VA for research and development purposes. Pedal Against PTSD is in a unique and differentiating position now with this partnership. It puts Pedal Against PTSD in the driver’s seat to direct funds at the VA towards projects we feel are important, namely projects that focus on the impacts of exercise and healthy living with respect to veterans suffering from PTSD. We are extremely excited about the relationship and the positive impact we will bring to the VA and ultimately to our veterans.

Our inaugural ride will take place in Sanger, TX on June 11, 2016. This is going to be a 100k ride with alternate half and short routes providing options for riders that want to avoid the pain (enjoyment) of the full 100k. In true grinder fashion, our route will be traversing the dirt roads of North Texas between Sanger and Decatur during one of the hottest months of the year. But don’t worry, we will have tons of assistance from a swarm of volunteers that will make the experience as comfortable as a gravel grinder can be!
Plan on an exciting event for a wonderful cause. We will provide updates on our Facebook page in real time and post any major updates as well on the website as we iron out the details over the next several months. Many thanks to the Dallas VA Research Corporation for their support. We look forward to bringing on other sponsors and volunteer organizations throughout the next several months of planning.
